As a way to present the user with a breadth of information about a place, Frontdoor.com envisioned City Guides, a collection of images, articles, video, statistics, etc.

We began the process by brainstorming and some low-tech wireframes. Once the team had solidified their concept, we moved into digital wireframes, simple prototypes, and then on to documentation and annotations. The documentation contains explicit information about the page layouts as well as each component's user interactions and use cases.

Visual design of the application is managed by the in-house designers at Scripps Networks Interactive.
